Optrel Satellite Welding Helmets

With the push of a button, you can deactivate the ADF cartridge and activate the Optrel Satellite Welding Helmet’s shade 4 grinding mode (indicated by a blinking LED light inside the helmet) - all without removing your helmet. The ex-ternal controls allow the user to control all shade cartridge settings to meet the welding procedure and personal preference. Adjust the shade level control knob to select the shade within settings of 5-9 or 9-13. Also features a spherical front cover lens for high optical quality and improved durability. Suitable for all arc welding applications.Warning: Not suitable for laser and plasma welding. Meets ANSI Z87.1-2003

Optrel Mira Plus Auto-Darkening Welding Helmets

The Optrel Mira Plus provides two levels of protection in a single cartridge. It automatically darkens within a fraction of a millisecond to the correct level of protection, and the sensor bar eliminates the influence of surrounding light. Uses solar cells and therefore does not require batteries or an on/off switch. The Mira Plus auto-darkening filter allows you to enjoy the comfort and safety of the futuristic helmet shell by automatically adjusting to variable shade 10 or 11 via the non-contact toggle switch. Patented telescoping headgear design and an easy-to-change cover plate design with integrated seal. Choose from two colors, blue or unpainted black. Meets ANSI Z87.1-2003.

Optrel Orion Welding Helmet

Engineered for the professional welder, the Optrel Orion Welding Helmet offers a unique filter that automatically ad-justs the shade level between 9 and 13. In automatic mode, the Optrel Orion continually samples the arc intensity. Upon sensing a variation in intensity, the Optrel Orion instantly adjusts to an appropriate shade. The user can tweak the shade by ± (plus or minus) 1 shade for a personalized comfort level. For full, personal control, simply switch Optrel Orion to the manual setting.

Optrel Nova Auto-Darkening Filter

The Optrel Nova ADF from Sperian is an economical alternative. Darkens to a shade 10 when the user strikes an arc. Operates on two lightweight, long-life, replaceable batteries and will fit most 2” x 4 1/4” helmet openings. The Optrel Nova ADF also features a shade 3 light state, which protects users’ eyes from UV/IR.
