V-Gard® Standard Caps

These MSA caps are number one for most industrial applications. Durable, injection-molded, high-density polyethylene shell is designed with accessories slots to accommodate many add-on features. Also includes a Cushionaire™ sweatband and adjustable crown straps. Meets ANSI Z89.1-2003, Type 1, Class E.Available with four types of suspensions: the Fas-Trac® ratchet suspension is a 4-point webbed system with a large knob for easy adjustment; the Staz-On® pinlock suspension is a comfortable, 4-point webbed system; the UniPro® is a 4-point, one piece plastic baseball-cap-style pinlock adjustment system; and the 1-Touch® is a suspension that provides an easy squeeze opening, adjustable dual nylon straps, and one-hand slide adjustment for a stable and comfortable fit.

Advance® Caps, Vented

Advance caps are designed with cooling vents for improved air circulation and extra comfort. Polyethylene shell works with the 4 or 6-point Fas-Trac® ratchet suspension for a complete protective system. The lightweight design offers added comfort, and the lateral contours above the ear provide easy integration of hearing protection. Glaregard™ under the brim reduces reflective glare, and an optional sun shield is available to extend the brim all the way around. Meets ANSI Z89.1-2003, Type I, Class C.

Defender® + Faceshield Frames and Muffs

The Defender + faceshield frame is made from lightweight polypropylene and accommodates all MSA visors. Its easy-in and easy-out visor channel allows for quick-and-easy visor replacement. With no mechanical pins used to hold the visor in place, there are no pins to inadvertently break off. The frame latches to bill of cap for a tight seal (latching tab models), and earmuff accessory simply snaps into frame pivot joint with no bolts and nuts to fasten. V-shaped frame extender enhances visor retention, minimizing flaring at bottom of visor. Front-drip-edge with lockdown brim offers splash protection against spills while providing an unlimited number of lift stop positions. The Foldback style frames are available in plastic (dielectric) and metal and can be used with slotted or non-slotted helmets. Available in cap or hat models. Visors sold separately. Meets ANSI Z87.1-2003.

Defender® + Faceshield Assemblies

Faceshield assemblies are ideal when you need face protection when not wearing a protective hard hat. Lightweight design features flexible headbands that adjust to head sizes 6 1/2” to 8”. Available with either pinlock or ratchet suspension. The extended high-temp Sparkgard is for use in temperatures up to 250°F. Meets ANSI Z87.1-2003.Use only MSA visors with MSA frames and assemblies. Goggles or spectacles that meet Z87.1-2003 must be worn with faceshield frames, assemblies and visors.

Terri-Band Sweatbands
