SuperEight® High Performance Hats and Caps

SuperEight® High Performance hats and caps provide high quality safety with a unique, smooth crown that eliminates the danger of falling objects being trapped by ribs, ridges, or slots. Wearers can adjust head size for comfort by using a convenient rear-located ratchet mechanism and tilting the headband. For added comfort, cap comes with a 360° perforated, padded, sweatband that keeps wearers cool and is removable. All hats and caps include an 8-point suspension with ratchet adjustment, unless otherwise indicated. Caps are also available in with Quick-Lok® mounting blocks and with the Swingstrap suspension that allows the wearer to convert from front to rear wearing positions without reversing the suspension or headband. Model E-1 full brim hat protects wearers from the sun, nontoxic splash, dust, dirt and debris. Models E-1 and E-2 are SEI certified to meet ANSI Z89.1-2003, Type 1, Class E, G or C.

SuperEight fiberglass caps feature a lightweight, heavy-duty construction with a unique smooth crown design for deflecting impacting objects. Includes an 8-point suspension with ratchet adjustment for absorbing impact energy and distributing weight evenly. Caps are also available with Quick-Lok® mounting blocks or with the swingstrap suspension system that allows the wearer to convert from front to rear wearing positions without reversing the suspension or headband. Meets ANSI Z89.1-2003, Type 1, Class G or C.

SuperEight® Home Run Baseball Style Hard Cap

The home run baseball style hard cap combines the appeal and comfort of a baseball cap with a thermoplastic inner for protection from minor lacerations and abrasions. Also features a lightweight, sturdy 100% cotton construction, cooling ventilation eyelets for circulations, high strength-to-weight liner, inner surface soft foam comfort pad, and adjustable back strap that fits most head sizes. F-300, F-400, F-500 Headgear

Fibre Metal offers a variety of faceshields and crown protectors to provide the level of protection you need. All models feature lightweight and heat-resistant Noryl (the same material used in welding helmets) crown protectors, top injection propionate faceshields, and ratchet headbands. Meet ANSI Z87.1-2003 High Impact.F-300 model is a lightweight faceshield that provides general face protection for light-duty applications. Easily fits over spectacles, leaving room for air circulation to prevent fogging. Accommodates standard size (11 1/2” x 8”) windows.F-400 model features a deeper 4” crown protector to extend protection without increasing weight. Incorporates wide-vision (17” x 8”) wraparound windows and screens which provide 40% more protective area than standard size faceshields. Fits easily over required spectacles or respirators. F-500 includes a broader, deeper 7” crown protector to provide an extra margin of protection when harsh working conditions require it. Features the exclusive Channel Grip system that mounts wide, wraparound windows and locks them into place to form a perfect seal from dust, dirt and debris. High Performance Faceshield Frames

Lightweight, mounted faceshield frames attach on the front peak of hard hats and feature a dual channel mounting system that anchors one channel to the hat and the other to the window, allowing users to lock windows into the work position or pivot up and out of the way when not needed. Locked channels prevent debris from getting between the cap and faceshield. All brackets are constructed from strong, heat-resistant Noryl. Hard hat not included.

High Performance Faceshield Windows

Available in three sizes, these high performance windows provide a degree of protection at a price point for every application and budget. Fits easily and comfortably over required protective spectacles or respirators. Windows are injection molded from propionate for superior performance and are preformed to the exact curve of crown protectors for easy installation, an exact fit and a perfect seal against dust, dirt and debris. For an extra margin of protection, windows are .060” thick, yet they cost no more than ordinary .040” thick windows.

FM70DC, FM400DC and FM500DC (Dual Crown) Series High Performance headgear provides full face and neck protection and features broader, deeper 4” or 7” crown and chin protectors. Crown protectors are constructed from lightweight and heat-resistant Noryl (the same material used in welding helmets). Propionate faceshield windows sold separately. Faceshield Brackets

Protective cap-mounting mechanisms easily and safely secure Fibre Metal faceshields to hard hats. Constructed from Noryl (material used in welding helmets), these faceshield brackets offer durable protection. Model 4000 with Quick-Lok® cups is for mounting on Fibre-Metal caps equipped with Quick-Lok blocks for more permanent mounting. Model 5000 with Speedy® mounting loops provides easy on and off mounting on protective caps. Patented, adjustable loop fits Fibre-Metal caps and most competitive brands. Model 6500 faceshield bracket with 6000 blades is for use on slotted hard hats.
