3Mâ„¢ 950 Series Multi-Gas Detector

3Mâ„¢ 950 Series Multi-Gas Detector The 3M™ Multi-Gas Detector 950 Series helps take the worry out of workplace monitoring by providing fast, reliable information on selected target gases. The unit can detect up to five gases simultaneously, and can be used with the powerful 3M™ Know Your Air Software. The unique instrument software can be used to customize the detector setting to your specific application, download analysis, and generate reports. Rechargeable nickel metal hydride (NiMH) or AA alkaline batteries. Key features of the 950 Series include: instant installation of five of any of the popular eighteen 3M™ smart sensors, massive archiving feature for up to five full months of stored data, audible and visual alarm features alert the user of gas presence, optional metal oxide broadband sensor, measures CO2, HS, EX3, OX, NO, ND, SO, CL, AM2, HY, CN, CD, MM, PH, MO, PD and intrinsically safe rated CSA — Class 1, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D; T3.WARNING: This instrument helps monitor for the presence and concentration level of certain specified airborne gases. Misuse may produce an inaccurate reading which means that higher levels of the gas being monitored may be present and could result in overexposure and cause sickness or death. For instruments with an oxygen sensor installed, misuse may produce an inaccurate reading where lower or higher levels of oxygen may be present and cause sickness or death. Each person using this equipment must read and understand the instructions in the User Instructions before use. Use of this equipment by untrained or unqualified persons, or use that is not in accordance with the User Instructions may adversely affect product performance and result in sickness or death. 3Mâ„¢ Personal Air Monitoring Systems

3Mâ„¢ Personal Air Monitoring Systems 3M™ Personal Air Monitoring Systems are small and lightweight and will not interfere with employee activities. 3M™ Organic Vapor, Ethylene Oxide and Formaldehyde Monitors sample airborne contaminants by the simple process of diffusion. Easy-to-use, just clip to shirt lapel, collar, or pocket. Simple and convenient with no batteries, hoses or pumps required. 3M™ monitors can also be used for area monitoring, if sufficient air flow exists.3M™ monitors can be analyzed in the lab of your choice or returned for analysis. The 3M™ Organic Vapor Monitor 3500 has a single charcoal sorbent wafer for easy collection of organic vapors and can be used for most applications. Can be analyzed by gas chromatography in your lab. Analysis procedure is available upon request. Available (Model 3510) features pre-paid analysis. Both monitors have an 18-month shelf life. The Organic Vapor Monitor 3520, with backup section uses primary and back-up sorbent pads for sampling demanding environments. Especially suited for monitoring compounds like acrylonitrile, butadiene and methylene chloride for which activated carbon shows limited capacity. It has two stages for increased sampling capacity. Increased sampling may be necessary when sampling volatile compounds (compounds with low boiling points), high or unknown concentrations, complex mixtures or when sampling in high humidity conditions. Each monitors more than 125 organic vapors. Available Model 3530 offers both backup and prepaid analysis. Both monitors have an 18-month shelf life. The Ethylene Oxide Monitor 3551 is designed for sampling personnel or work areas in the pharmaceutical, health care and chemical industries. The monitor utilizes brominated carbon to collect and convert the reactive ethylene oxide to a more stable chemical derivative called 2-bromoethanol. This compound is then desorbed with methylene chloride in methanol. It meets OSHA’s requirement for accuracy within +/- 25% for 8-hour samplings at 1 ppm and the requirem
